We help Ukrainians directly, both in Ukraine and in Germany, and you can help too. Millions of Ukrainian refugees have fled the violence and danger in Ukraine. Many of them flee to major European cities like Berlin. We were there during the initial refugee wave as thousands arrived daily at Berlin's main train station. We worked in the large tent greeting these refugees as they arrived and caring for their needs. Now we spend time with and care for refugees in Berlin and other German cities.
But not everyone has left Ukraine. There are millions of IDP refugees within Ukraine. We drive aid supplies regularly directly into western Ukraine where IDP refugees are being housed and in constant need of supplies. This is a place that refugees fleeing attacked areas can come to and stay short or longer term and receive clothing, food, medicine, counseling, and a safe place to rest and recover. Many come with only small bags and are traumatized from experiencing explosions and fighting first hand. Our Ukrainian partners drive aid supplies weekly to dangerous, frontline areas all over Ukraine. The impact of this work spreads across Ukraine to areas affected most heavily by the war. We have also brought refugees back with us to Berlin, where we care for them.
Your partnership with this work helps Ukrainians directly. We are regularly in Ukraine, bringing aid supplies, listening to their stories, and helping anyway we can. By financially supporting this work you are helping Ukrainians directly in their time of greatest need.
