Current Ukrainian Focus: Will and Tanja have responded to the Ukrainian crisis in Europe. There are millions of Ukrainian refugees who have fled the violence and danger in Ukraine, many of them to major european cities like Berlin. During the initial refugee wave Tanja worked to receive refugees as they arrived at Berlin's main train station; thousands arrived everyday. Her medical training as a nurse allowed her to work in the medical tent, caring for injuries and various sicknesses. But not everyone has left Ukraine. There are millions of IDP refugees within Ukraine. Will and Tanja are partnering with a church in western Ukraine. This church provides housing and aid to 100s of IDP refugees and is in constant need of supplies. Will drives aid supplies into Ukraine regularly and will continue to bring aid as their needs grow and change. Their Ukrainian partners also drive every week to dangerous areas throughout the Ukraine with aid supplies that Will brings. Will also brings refugees back to Berlin with him and Will and Tanja, together with their church in Berlin, are caring for their needs.
