Poke Plus is partnering with Transformative Water to amplify clean drinking water efforts among Maasai pastoralists in Narok, Kenya. These clean drinking water solutions are household water filters and water and health education in community settings. The solution to clean drinking water is not just technological, but also relational and educational.

Household water filters have improved household water security. Through increased access of household water filters, we have seen (1) reduced worry about having clean drinking water, (2) money saved as households no longer need to purchase drinking water or water treatment chemicals, (3) saved time and reduced labor as households no longer need to search for additional firewood to boil water, as well as (4) improved health and overall well-being.
Water, sanitation, and hygiene health clubs spread water and sanitation health knowledge. These clubs provide social and relational support for women pursuing clean drinking water, hygene and better health for their families. Through the clubs they can navigate this change with the support of their neighbors, family, and friends. These health clubs also support local church ministry, fostering the spiritual growth of those who attend.
