For children who are both orphans and handicapped in Ukraine, their futures are miserable.
Over the weeks to come we will be looking at opportunities for you to be a part of the stories of God's transformation that we share each week that are featured in 2014 gift catalog.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.†(James 1:27)
For children who are both orphans and handicapped in Ukraine, their futures are miserable. At 18, they are uprooted from the only home they have ever known and sent to live in a psychological orphanage or an old-age home for the rest of their lives. They have no rights, no formal education, and no understanding of life outside the orphanage. Desperate for freedom and longing to be loved, they are isolated from society and simply left to die.
NMSI, in partnership with Heart for Orphans, will be working to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of young adults who are orphaned with special needs in Ukraine who have no safe place to go. By operating small, family-style homes, they provide refuge and hope for these young adults. They will be live as a family in a home staffed by Christian house parents who love them and teach them life skills in Christ-centered environment.
Join those the Lord is bringing together to establish two new godly family homes for these young hearts so that their lives may be transformed.
We invite you buy a door ($200) or a window ($100) in these homes or give what you can to help bring about a safe, loving homes.
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
