Growing pastors

Over the weeks to come we will be looking at opportunities for you to be a part of the stories of God's transformation that we share each week that are featured in 2014 gift catalog.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14-15)

At AfricaHope there is a deep understanding of the importance of quality preaching. They have seen the impact of churches planted and lives forever changed through the word being preached. They understand that in order to preach, one first must know what they are teaching.

AfricaHope equips emerging church leaders from village church plants through a one-week intensive discipleship retreat. During this retreat, the church leaders are given an understanding of the foundations of the Christian faith. They are also given tools to be able to share the gospel and disciple others so that more lives will know the saving knowledge of Christ. Pastors who have gone through past trainings have taken their knowledge and in turn, trained others.

Through these discipleship retreats, pastors are being sent out and new disciples are being made. The church is growing - will you help it multiply?

We invite you to equip an individual leader or all the leaders from an individual church plant with gifts of $75 or $300. An entire retreat can be funded as well – an investment that will continue to reap dividends as disciples go out and disciple others.
