Trey & Audrey Stephens

Trey and Audrey both have two distinct passions: celebrating the global church and striving for others to feel known and seen. This encouraged them to pursue stateside Mobilization with New International; they serve as the Venture Coordinators for the Venture Internship program. It is one of their deepest joys to hear each person’s story, knowing that God can use them for His glory around the world.

As Venture Coordinators...

  • They intentionally walk alongside interns in their journey before, during, and after their Venture Internship.
  • They coordinate pre-field training, regular correspondence with interns (while on the field), and help guide them through their debrief process.
  • They help advocate for missionaries currently on the field by asking them what their specific needs are, how interns could best serve them, and what Mobilization can specifically do to provide support.
  • They travel to different conferences, events, colleges, etc. to recruit on behalf of New International–specifically for the Venture Internship program. 

In 2023, Trey & Audrey traveled to Berlin on their Venture Internship through New International. This trip changed their lives and course of involvement in global missions. As a result, they absolutely love to share their story of God's work in Berlin and would love for others to be able to experience even a glimpse of the global Church that is growing and changing all over the world. 

They both felt God leading them toward global ministry at various points in their lives. Trey had dreams about working with unreached people groups from the time he was five years old. Audrey had interactions with missionaries growing up and felt a push toward ministry in middle school. God allowed their lives to intersect as high school seniors in early 2020. Throughout their lives, they both had a specific interest–or calling–toward cross-cultural ministry.

Trey and Audrey were married in May 2022 and had their daughter, Emerson, in June 2025. They both graduated from Ozark Christian College in December 2024 with a B.A. in (Bible and) Intercultural Studies.
