Taylor grew up as both a pastor's kid and a missionary kid, deeply immersed in ministry from an early age. Her parents’ affiliation with New International in 2015 exposed her to various short-term mission projects, where she felt the Lord stirring her heart for ministry—though she had no clear vision of what that would look like.
During her junior year of high school, God led Taylor to a job at a café, where she discovered a passion for creating spaces for gospel-centered conversations in secular environments. This experience planted the seed for her growing interest in Business as Mission (BAM)—a model that integrates faith and the marketplace.
After taking a gap year in 2020, Taylor pursued her studies at Bethany Global University in Minneapolis, where her fascination with marketplace ministry and tent-making deepened. As a junior, she had the opportunity to intern for 10 months in North Africa, gaining hands-on experience in BAM and building relationships in a cross-cultural setting. However, her time there came to an unexpected halt in 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances.
Back in the U.S., Taylor connected with New International’s Short-Term Mobilization Team, which opened the door for her to jump into a summer internship in London just a month later. There, she found not only a place of belonging but also a space to process the past 10 months while thriving in ministry. From volunteering at a café in Westminster to evangelism in Stratford to intentional relationship-building, Taylor saw God opening doors she hadn’t even imagined.
After much prayer and encouragement, Taylor officially affiliated with New International in February 2025. She now seeks to serve alongside the Watson family in Paddington at Story Church, engaging in church planting, café ministry, and evangelism. She is able to utilize her experience and language learning from her Internship in North Africa in London to continue to build the Kingdom, using business as a platform for the gospel in an urban, multicultural setting.
