Jayson and Annette Simonson are missionaries with New International. Together, they work to combat extreme poverty in Jesus’ name through their ministry, Family Partners, where Jayson serves as the executive director.
While serving the most vulnerable members of the rural Kenyan community, Jayson was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. The diagnosis and treatment have not only been a tremendous emotional and physical burden, but it has also had a financial impact on Family Partners. As Jayson underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and two major surgeries in 2024, his ability to manage the daily operations of the ministry was deeply affected. Despite his health battle, Jayson shows resilience and a heart for service.
The financial strain caused by medical expenses and reduced ministry operations has hurt the Family Partners ministry. 2024 marked the ministry's lowest year of growth, and the first-year donor lapses outpaced new donors.
The funds raised go directly to supporting the Simonsons as they transition back into their work, providing them with the resources and care they need to continue leading Family Partners. Whether it's medical support, travel expenses, or everyday necessities, your donations will help ensure that Jayson and Annette can focus on Family Partners without financial burden.
Join us in generously supporting the Simonson family, who will continue making a difference in the lives of thousands of families in East Africa. Every donation, big or small, helps continue this vital work. We appreciate your support.
