Meredith grew up in Temple, GA with two sisters and a love of reading. She attended The University of Georgia (UGA) and graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. After serving in campus ministry as a student, Meredith completed an internship with Christian Campus Fellowship at UGA which launched her passion for ministry work. With prompting from a close family friend, Meredith found an international organization called Open Door Libraries that fit her skills and call to serve. She served abroad in the Czech Republic for two years at Prague Christian Library, now known as Crossroads Center, coordinating children’s programming and growing in her faith journey.
Sean grew up in Powder Springs, GA with a loving family. He attended The University of Georgia and immediately got plugged into a beautiful campus ministry community. His life changed at Christian Campus Fellowship, where his faith blossomed and he met Meredith. Through mission trips, mentoring, and countless experiences, Sean graduated from UGA with a heart set on missions. His other passions include sports, video games, and getting to know people over coffee.
After years of long-distance dating, Sean and Meredith were married in May 2020. As newlyweds, they had a common passion for international ministry work and a big obstacle: closed borders. After a long period of discernment, setbacks, and tested faith, Sean and Meredith are finally preparing to go into the mission field together. They have a passion for reaching the “uninterested” people groups in post-Christian Europe through community building and teaching.
