On March 28, 2025, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar. Our team is on the ground, working tirelessly to reach those affected.
- Families we serve are in crisis. We support 144 female business owners in the hardest-hit region—many providing for entire families. So far, we’ve only reached 11. One has already lost a loved one.
- Food and water are running out. Markets have collapsed, and logistical failures could create a food crisis within days.
- We are mobilizing relief. Our team is delivering food, water, and cash assistance using off-road vehicles—first securing these 144 families, then expanding to their communities.
- Communication is nearly impossible. Mobile internet is down, electricity is mostly out, and information is scarce.
Myanmar’s ongoing conflict makes this crisis worse. Corruption will limit international aid, making private giving the most effective way to reach those in need. For over 20 years, New International missionaries have served in Myanmar. They know the people, the land, and the needs. They are leading relief efforts from the front lines, ensuring every dollar directly supports families in crisis. Please pray and give today.
