Since 2016
Mark and Andrea arrived "back home" to Edinburgh, Scotland in January 2021, where they serve globally with New International.
Having been in full-time ministry throughout their adult lives, they see their mission as "Helping people find their unique place in God's story" - from introducing someone to Christ for the first time, to helping an individual find a mission that fits their gifts and passions.
With years of experience serving the local church in youth ministry, education, and spiritual formation, they planted and led Crossbridge Christian Church in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2010 they felt the Lord very clearly calling them to leave their healthy church home and join in what He was doing in Scotland. They packed up their suitcases and landed in Edinburgh in the spring of 2011, serving there for nearly five years. While back in the US dealing with some family health concerns, they connected with New International.
Mark and Andrea bring a unique mix of experience, passion and gifts to their roles with NI. As our Chief People Officer, Mark gives oversight to our HR, Mobilization, and Recruiting teams. Together, Mark and Andrea count it as a joy to serve as Regional Directors, providing care, coaching, and strategic oversight to all our affiliates in The Republic of Ireland, and The United Kingdom, with the overarching goal to ensure that they THRIVE, wherever the Lord leads them in service.
Mark also serves on the strategic team and as a regional minister with the Fellowship of Churches of Christ of Great Britain and Ireland
As diverse and varied as their roles are, they all revolve around their core mission.
