Johnny also has an MDiv from Lincoln Christian Seminary. Soon after they were married they began seeking where they might serve. At the end of 2009, they joined New International and began plans to move to Southeast Asia. The couple has lived in SE Asia since May of 2011. The family has 3 children: Will (born 2010), Hope (born 2013), and Zoe (born 2016).
Currently, Janelle is a full-time mother of three homeschooling both Will and Hope. She is also involved in building cross-cultural relationships in the community.
Currently, Johnny is working with an entrepreneurship school he helped to develop along with their teammates. This missional business seeks to alleviate poverty by promoting business startup, financial literacy, and job creation. Johnny helps facilitate sustainable ministry and church planting movements by equipping self-supported national tentmakers
