Joseph is originally from Tacoma, Washington and was raised in the Dominican Republic serving God as a missionary kid alongside his missionary family since 1991. Joe attended Kentucky Christian University, where he received a Bachelors degree in Preaching and Theology with a minor in Business Administration. Joe is also a certified science teacher with 7 years of classroom teaching experience in public and private schools. As an ordained minister Joe was the planting pastor of The Springs church plant in the Dominican Republic.
Patricia is from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and came to know Jesus as a teenager in a Christian church planted by a missionary couple from South Korea. She has a Bachelors degree in Marketing and worked for a Christian micro-finance organization for over a decade, serving in many areas including leading the development and communications department. Together they established The Springs Church in the Dominican Republic. Joe and Patricia were married in 2016 and they have two boys Caleb (2yrs) and Joshua (6 mos).
Joe is serving as the Director of the Residency Program and Patricia is coordinating mission trips and internship opportunities. In 2019, the Kleins will take on the challenge to co-planting, with nationals, the second church plant of IMPACTOLatino in Queretaro. Planting new churches and teaching how to share about Jesus is their greatest joy and by serving with IMPACTOLatino team, they are responding to God's call on their lives to share the gospel by equipping church planters in México.
