Hello, we are Jeremiah and Sarah Mawman. We are so excited to go to Northern Ireland to participate in church planting and community transformation. We both felt a strong call to ministry since we were young, and we are thrilled to be a part of what God is doing in the UK.

In 2019, Jeremiah felt a strong call from the Lord to go to Ireland. Since then, God has connected him to a local pastor, Gary Bolton who lives in Northern Ireland. In 2022, he had the privilege of visiting this beautiful country for the first time. Over time, the call to ministry there became clearer and clearer as Sarah and Jeremiah grew in their relationship with Gary and his wife Kathryn.

Sarah saw Northern Ireland for the first time on a trip we took in 2023. We went to a place called Newry which is a border town in Northern Ireland. Gary has been wanting missionaries to come to Newry and it was confirmed in our hearts that we want to commit to seeing lives transformed there.

Northern Ireland has a very complicated history and the people there are desperate for peace. Newry is on the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland. It is a place with a lot of tension that needs the gospel to transform it. 

Our plan is to partner with Gary, Kathryn, and the rest of the Northern Ireland team to bring the hope of Jesus and to make disciples. They have shared with us that traditional church planting does not work there, so we are going in with a different strategy. 

Our strategies include building a soft play center (picture a huge Chick-fil-a play place) where young families can gather and play, as it frequently rains, partnering with existing non profits who are already doing amazing work in the community, various sports ministries, ministering to mothers, and hosting people in our home. We are specifically passionate about impacting families by modeling Kingdom family in our own marriage and family life.

God is doing big things in Northern Ireland and we are so thankful and honored that the Lord would ask us to be a part of it.
