On August 14th, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake devastated an already fragile Haiti, leaving more than 2,200 dead, 15,000 wounded, at least 332 missing, and an estimated 36,000 families homeless.
Our missionaries in Haiti, Mioche and Rosie Rock, have a team of 85 people ready to deploy to rebuild homes for people in Cavaillon. This area has been hit for the second time since 2017 with hurricane Matthew. In partnership with two affected sister churches in the south, the team’s efforts will be focused on repairing and rebuilding the churches and homes in this region to get people from under tarps to a more secure environment.
Their goal is to travel south with supplies of wood, thin metal sheets, nails, and cement. You can help rebuild homes in Haiti by DONATING today.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. PSALM 46:1-2
In the words of Mioche, “Haiti will get better, and His dominion will be restored there.” Thank you for your prayers and support!
