Dave & Mara

David and Mara Pickering have served in cross-cultural missions since 2003. Mara’s Master's degree in Intercultural studies, and David’s background in Agriculture, have been a natural combination for holistic transformational community development projects in hard to access countries across Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Those platforms have given them experience in Disciple Making Movements and Church Planting. Multiple terms on field have given David and Mara valuable experience to serve as Regional Directors with New International. Serving in this capacity has broadened their reach to a global scale serving NI missionaries worldwide. Their heart is to help new cross-cultural workers get to the field, stay on the field, have success and effective service globally as God leads. They serve at New International’s Center for Global Outreach in Fort Myers and reside in Southwest Florida with their 3 children.
