Thank you for wanting to donate to our continuing Cyclone Mocha Relief efforts on the west coast of Myanmar, commonly referred to as the Rakhine State.
Currently we are still receiving reports - and witnessing firsthand for ourselves at times - on the spiritual and physical aftermath of the storm even now, months after it brought much devastation to our country. Our work continues because the urgent needs still persist. Many people are still displaced. Securing shelter for others is still ongoing. Restoring church buildings is still one of the priorities, in part because many churches have to some degree become relief centers and temporary shelters.
Through it all, however, there are many reasons to be encouraged and hopeful. Hearts have been stirred among those affected and we have seen a great people movement and a hunger for the truth of God. We are committed to being an integral part of the outreach for storm victims not just in Rakhine State but in neighboring regions as well. We have assessed the greatest needs, have a lead project manager, and are looking forward to bringing people to Christ as we serve their physical and spiritual needs.
Thank you for your partnership and interest!
