I was able to meet with a refugee named Javid (jA-vid). He's from Afghanistan, and started his own cleaning business two years ago. Although the organization he works for might not be a good fit for partnership, Adam (the missionary I'm working with in Thailand) helped me brainstorm how we could offer some benefit to him in his work and maybe ask about other connections.
I was able to make a positive connection with an organization called Episcopal Migration Ministries that has multiple locations and who are interested in partnering with the ministry in Minneapolis, Syracuse, and Houston! It's likely I might make another trip to Lancaster/Harrisburg, Sacramento/Bay Area, and Minneapolis/St Paul! I feel like I'm gaining more confidence on how to make connections for potential partnerships. I asked God to help me learn something today, and He answered that!
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
