What a week! I'm now back in State College, PA, but my time in Florida was truly a life-changing experience. I got to experience God's grace and gentleness in such different ways, and I'm thankful for that. It was hard to leave friends I made. The joy I experienced during orientation is something I want to bottle it all up and share it with my friends in PA!
Our sessions in the morning would begin with stretching, a liturgy prayer, and a breath breath. For example...Breathe in: "The Lord is my shepherd." Breathe out: "I have all that I need."
Some of the most joyful moments for me were the ones where I got to spend time just getting to know people and feel like we were learning together.
If I'm honest, writing this first week was hard. I didn't know what exactly to share, and now that I have a captive audience, I'm trying to not let that bring any pressure to "perform." Pre-field Orientation was filled with fun activities, so much learning, and new experiences that I am happy to share!
I'm about to start my first week and I'm excited to see what this week of work looks like!
Please pray:
-For continued encouragement from the Lord and learning to hear His voice
-For continued provision
-For the other interns that they would stay safe and serve God by loving Him and loving others
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
