We Took A Huge Risk

Through love and a feeding program, End Cycling beneficiary Wipe Every Tear in the Philippines is seeing women come out of working in the bars.

In June of 2021, Ends of the Earth Cycling, a ministry of New International, hosted their Idaho Bike Ride to promote and resource youth in the Philippines with Wipe Every Tear. Written by Kenny Sacht, founder of Wipe Every Tear.

We took another risk. We do that a lot. A little over 3 years ago, we heard the voice “Feed my daughters.” A very good Australian friend of mine said, “Kenny, I’m sending some seed money to begin. Let’s see what God does…”  And so we began feeding lovely young women trapped in the sex trade in the bars of Angeles City, Philippines.  We didn’t have a clue how to begin, but we knew what God had told us.

Then there was Covid. Everything shut down… BUT we received special authority from the mayor’s office to continue feeding, so we did. One day I heard that voice again distinctly saying “everyone deserves to eat.” We fed God’s lovelies as if they were our own daughters. Month by month it grew from 50 meals to 100, 200, 300, and now 400+ meals a day, totaling over 12,000 meals each month. Each day begins by a trip to the market, buying fresh vegetables and meat or fish at 7:00 in the morning, and we finish around 5:00 in the evening, delivering them directly to the girls in the bars. They are so grateful, and you should see their smiles!

Just recently, five lovely women, along with their children came out of the bars and into our care. Each of them said “we trusted you because you fed us.” Many more women will follow and we fully believe we will see revival in the sex trade!
