Community - What does it mean?

Community is Connection, Belonging, and Interaction. The community center in this country fits the definition! In my 3 weeks here, I have seen how neighbors, friends, visitors, and staff find joy in the many activities and interactions that take place throughout the week. From morning story hour for the toddlers to the games available to play at leisure for the older ones or carefully crafted activities such as Chocolate Chip Cookie baking for the pre- teens and many other activities that invite neighbors and friends to be a part of our community. It is very rewarding to be a part of this community here this summer.
