A student's life transformed

Greetings! It is now 13 years since Nasha was founded – wow. We appreciate all that God has done in empowering and transforming those we serve.

We are encouraged to see all the lives that have been touched through your partnership and how God has led us in spreading His word. We continue to experience great impact with those we serve. We've seen encouraging results through participating in several outreach activities, Education/sponsorship programs and several community projects.

This past week, we received encouragement from Catherine, one of last year's high school graduates. Catherine grew up with an alcoholic single mom. At a young age, Catherine's mom died, leaving her and her siblings alone to fend for themselves. She recalls how difficult life was as her older siblings looked for work to buy food.

It's hard to imagine how God can work in Catherine's difficult situation, yet we have seen how God provided. Through Nasha sponsorships, Catherine had the opportunity to complete school. But not only did Nasha help her finish school, Catherine also experienced the saving grace of Jesus.

Now, as Catherine volunteers at Nasha's office helping other sponsored students, she has also been accepted and joined a teacher's college this September. As she reflects back, she deeply thanks God for how far she has come. In order to see more orphaned students like Catherine attend and complete their education, we are seeking more sponsors, prayers and encouragement as we praise God for the lives He has transformed these past 13 years.
