Overview

At Wheelchair Project, we collect wheelchairs from all over the world and collaborate with local medical staff to customize and adapt the equipment to meet the specific needs of each recipient. This hands-on experience allows our team members to directly contribute to transforming lives and promoting inclusivity.

No prior skills or experience are required to join our team. We believe that anyone with a genuine desire to make a positive impact can contribute effectively. We welcome individuals who are passionate about helping others and encourage them to utilize their existing skills while also providing opportunities for skill development. As we constantly strive for improvement, you'll have the chance to enhance your abilities and grow personally and professionally.

As a team member, you will undergo a comprehensive training program accredited by the World Health Organization (WHO). Upon successful completion, you will receive certification credentials as a wheelchair provisioner, starting at the basic level with opportunities for advancement in the future.

In addition to the role of wheelchair provisioner, we offer various other job positions within the organization. Whether your expertise lies in welding and metalwork, sewing and upholstery, media and public relations, administration, data management, or database development, there's a place for you on our team.

As part of the Wheelchair Project, you will have the opportunity to travel throughout Thailand and neighboring countries. Our distribution events and home visits take place in a wide variety of venues and locations, allowing you to experience diverse cultures and make a direct impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Summary

Long-term Volunteer Workers (1+ years) are need to help in all areas of the Wheelchair Project team.
