Overview
Responsiblities: Distribution Manager will oversee and coordinate wheelchair distribution events across Thailand and Southeast Asia. Your primary responsibilities will include event scheduling, wheelchair selection, pre-distribution preparation, and on-site event management.
Working closely with the General Manager and other Wheelchair Project Management, you will ensure the smooth flow of operations during distribution events. These events typically occur 1-2 times per month and accommodate up to 100 patients over several days. By ensuring the wheelchairs are in excellent condition and making necessary adaptations beforehand, we can efficiently process recipients on the day of the distribution.
In this role, you will coordinate a team working under your supervision to accomplish the necessary tasks. Additionally, you will assist the General Manager on the distribution day, addressing any issues that arise and managing the workflow effectively. Given the integral nature of this position within the Wheelchair Project, we require a commitment of at least three years. Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in disabilities and assistive devices, as well as a background in Physical or Occupational Therapy.
