Church Leadership / Northern Scotland

Overview


This position includes, but is not be limited to: leading weekly services, supporting and strengthening on-going programs and activities, and connecting with the community and local church leaders. A person who is semi-retired from serving in a local church -- with both good and bad experiences -- may be good fit for this role.

The person filling this role should have many years of prior service within the local church in a leadership role, with a degree from a Bible college and/or extensive theological training. Strong servant leadership skills, along with a humble heart for learning from those in a new context, are essential. Prior international travel or cross-cultural living would be ideal. We are looking for a servant who loves people and making connections within the community and with other local church leaders.The church is a part of the Fellowship of Churches of Christ of Great Britain and Ireland, which seeks to create and support healthy churches and communities. 
Housing MAY be available.

Summary

We are seeking individuals to serve in a teaching and leadership position at a small Christian church on the northern coast of Scotland.
