Agricultural Director / Ukraine

Overview

The position of Agricultural Director entails managing the farm on the edge of the village where Stephen's Home is located. It will include, initially, determining what will be needed to begin the process of starting the farm as both a place where crops can be grown, orchards planted, and produce sufficiently harvested and distributed. This individual will also make decisions about new initiatives like greenhouses and solar panel farming. There is the possibility of livestock for food and also equine therapy for residents of the truPROMISE community that will need to be initiated and implemented.

This will become an essential part of truPROMISE in order to sustain the long-term provision and care of those living in group homes that are just beginning to be established in this region of Darivka for these young adults with disabilities. The farmland is just 10 minutes from Stephen's Home and about 5 minutes from where Naomi's Home will be built.  Potentially, those living in these homes could work, learn a skill, and receive therapy through these efforts.

Requirements: A minimum of four years of experience and a degree in agriculture is needed along with the ability to initiate a new business and then sustain it long-term, potentially on multiple levels.
