Since 2017
Nathan and Marie have long felt the call of overseas missions. They have served in ministry for 9 years as youth leaders and mentors. As well as participating in several short-term mission trips. As Nathan and Marie held jobs in the community they reached out to their coworkers, inviting them over for board game/dinner nights and hang outs, sharing with them the love of Christ. During this time, God has been preparing them to reach the young adults of Newcastle, Australia.
Nathan and Marie currently serve in Australia working with Australia Christian Mission in partnership with South Pacific Christian Fellowship. A huge part of their ministry is a weekly board game night where they invite young adults from all walks of life to come together for fun and fellowship. This is a fun and safe environment for young adult christians to deepen their community with one another and invite their coworkers and friends to experience the hope of Christ. This has also opened up the doors for Nathan and Marie to mentor and disciple young adults, encouraging them in their walk with God and challenging them to serve.
Marie enjoys serving on the worship team, teaching scriptures in local schools, and volunteering for a Non-profit pregnancy center. Nathan reaches the community through the art and enjoyment of coffee while also discipling a few young adult men, and occasionally preaching. Together they lead youth group, bible studies, and serve during Sunday service each week.
