I serve Son Safaris staff and volunteers by doing whatever I can to keep their faith journeys focused on loving God with their whole being, loving their neighbors with no exceptions, and loving God's Creation.. I do other things as needed but none are as important as keeping our staff focused on God, their neighbors, and Creation Care.

Tim is a native Georgian with a strong Christian background. He was raised by godly parents who encouraged him to develop his gift for preaching and teaching about God's grace. All his adult life he has served in Christian ministries including churches, colleges, missions, and campus ministry. He and his wife, Sheila, have been married since 1968 and have been blessed with two daughters, one fosterson and seven grandsons. Tim enjoys spending time with his family as well as travelling, writing, reading, photography and being a self-professed geek and technophile. Tim was senior campus minister for 30 years at Christian Campus Fellowship at The University of Georgia. While there he baptized Fledge Fimingo, and has enjoyed helping his close friend realize the dream of the Son Safaris ministry: to create opportunities for people to experience God through his creation and to actively participate in creation care projects. He is currently Emeritus Senior Campus Minister of CCF, and the CPO of Son Safaris.
