Selah Ministries is a connection and resource center for women in Northern Thailand. Selah Home was originally established in 2021 as a domestic violence shelter and transitioned to a resource and connection center in 2023.
"Selah" is a word that appears in the Bible and is believed to indicate a transition, or a pause, or a time to rest and reflect. Selah Ministries is committed to providing women with the tools and resources they need to find rest, healing, and plan their next steps.
Our vision is to foster a generational shift which prevents violence against women and supports healthy families for years to come.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. -2 Corinthians 3:17
Our mission is to see each woman know that she is valuable, that her life has purpose, and that she has the support and tools she needs to live a life free from violence and abuse.
Although we no longer operate a safe home, we continue to provide resources and referrals, preventative and educational training in orphanages, and a workshop with students at our annual camp. We have realized that connection and referral, information sharing, and collaboration with like-minded NGOs is a major missing piece in our community and will continue to support women and families in this way. We also believe in preventative care, which means we actively seek new ways to teach, train, and prepare young men and women how to navigate intimate partner violence, abuse, or any type of harmful or unsafe living situations.
Any financial gifts given through this page will directly go to supporting the needs of women and children in crisis.
