SON SAFARIS - Ministry through conservation

Son Safaris is a Christ-centered ministry devoted to fulfilling God’s first command: to tend and protect His creation (Gen 2:15). We partner with wildlife reserves to support land and wildlife conservation projects, which steward God’s creation and opens doors to meaningful relationships with reserve staff and surrounding villages. 

Through our efforts to restore, protect, and rehabilitate what remains of God’s creation, every team member has the opportunity to encounter and celebrate the Lord in a profound way. They will be Immersed, inspired and rejuvinated by His handiwork though the beauty and wonder of His creation.

Meet Wayne and Kathie

I have a life long love of God's creation. It saddens me on what mankind has done to hurt the world. I have always longed to help anyway that I can. I have shared my love of God through Sunday School and through Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Now I feel as though God has given me the opportunity to experience and learn more about God's creation so that I can teach more people about Him and how humans can help the animals and their environments. I am excited and committed to learn what God wants me to learn during this trip. - Kathie

Learned about the program though Fledge at our church . Have always wanted to travel to Africa and the added benefit if it being mission trip is great , Also being a DVM helping animals is a core belief. - Wayne
