After 20+ years of ministry in Alaska as a teacher and a pastor, Michael joined Ends of the Earth Cycling® in 2023. Michael is passionate for others to experience depth in their relationships, with Christ and with others, gaining encouragement, belonging, perspective, growth, and renewal along the way. He brings his gifts of leadership, encouragement, and pastoral care to the staff, cyclists, and partners of Ends of the Earth Cycling. His work with Ends Cycling is truly a God given “desire of his heart” (Psalm 37:4), combining his passion for Jesus and adventure ministry to impact youth around the world.
Michael is married to Tara and together with their children Nolan, Wyatt, Eden, and Jack are eager to bring the hope of Jesus to everyone they meet.
Ends of the Earth Cycling is an active bicycling community impacting youth globally. We give people who want to change the world opportunities to use cycling to bring the hope of the Gospel to global youth through multi-day, Christ-centered bicycling tours. Ends Cycling tours are more than just fund raisers. Participants learn about a cause, raise awareness, experience community, minister to each other, and pray for youth around the world – all while building bridges of relationship and encouragement with front-line missionaries.
