Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the Last Day.  It is written in the Prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’  Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me." — John 6:44-45

By God's grace, I spent 17 blessed years (2004 - 2021) serving as a missionary to Romania with FGCI, including 12 years (2004-2016) living in Romania.  During that time, God opened many doors of ministry as we worked together to share Christ with hundreds of institutionalized and at-risk kids.

In 2021, I felt God calling me to start a new ministry focused solely on providing long-term one-on-one discipleship and mentoring to Romanian young adults.  I especially felt a strong burden for the hundreds of young adults I know who have left the state-run orphanages and are struggling to transition into adult life, as well as the marginalized Roma (Gypsy) population.  Listening to this calling, I joined New International in June of 2021 to begin this new ministry.  

I now work with local Romanian friends to reach over 200 young adults.  Since the young adults are scattered throughout Romania and Europe and often move as they search for work and housing, a good portion of this ministry occurs online.  Reaching them online allows us to follow them wherever they go, ensuring long-term and consistent discipling and mentoring.  I am personally in contact with up to 15 young adults per day.  Online meetings focus on teaching each young adult how to listen and learn from the Father (John 6:45).

By partnering with local Romanian believers, I do my best to connect the young adults to believers in their area.  I also travel to Romania up to three times a year to meet with the young adults and Romanian volunteers.
