Bring hope, comfort, and joy this Christmas to the family you've partnered with!
Each gift option is selected with the family in mind. The gifts are sourced locally and help them thrive.
Now through December 25, you can send gifts below. Make this a joyful and memorable Christmas!
Thank you for the generosity and love you express during this season of giving — and throughout the year!
- Backpack with School Supplies: Notebooks, crayons, pencils, and other supplies equip all the school-age children in the family to learn in the classroom.
- Chicken: Chickens provide a source of protein through eggs and meat, contributing to the family's food security.
- Gift Voucher: Vouchers are used for various purposes, including providing additional food, shoes, clothing, or school supplies for investment in the future.
- Goat: Goat's milk and meat provide vital protein and nutrients to a family's diet. Goats are sustainable livestock on the landscape, and breeding and selling goats can encourage economic stability for the family.
- HomePlus Solar Lights & Charger: A solar home system that provides essential lighting and phone charging to homes. The system features three lights, a battery control unit with charging ports, and a solar panel. Each light has three different lighting modes, which can be individually adjusted via a wall-mounted switch.
- Corrugated Metal for a Permanent Roof: Through demarcation, families have received parcels of land and are planning to build or have already started constructing permanent homes. This gift includes 10 corrugated metal sheets, which are enough to complete a permanent roof for a traditional Maasai house.
- Maasai Audio Bible: The Maasai are an oral culture. Many adults are unable to read, so an audio Bible enables them to access the Word of God in their native language.
This year, we are offering an additional opportunity for you to bless other families in our program. There are currently 150 families without access to electricity. Our goal is to ensure that all families in our program have access to electricity. Upgraded Solar Lights provide a sustainable light source inside Maasai homes, which don't let in much light. They are also portable chargers that can power and charge small devices, such as phones. For $21, you can go above and beyond and bless a family with access to basic electricity!
To use the cart function below, select the gifts you would like to give and the number of families you would like to bless (please do this for 1 family as well).
Example 1: Martha wants to give both of the families she has partnered with a $15 Gift Voucher and a Goat. She would check the box next to "Gift Voucher - $15" and the box next to "Goat - $80", then type "2" in the box next to "How many of each?".
Example 2: John partners with two families and wants to give one 2 chickens and the other family 1 set of school supplies. To do this, he would need to submit 2 transactions. For the first one, he would check the box next to "Chickens - $11", then type "2" in the box next to "How many of each?". In the notes section, he can specify which family this gift goes to by adding their family ID (ex. FP Mpoke 1234). For the second transaction, he would check the box next to "School Supplies - $22" and then type "1" in the box next to "How many of each?". In the notes section, he can specify which family this gift goes to by adding their family ID.
You don't have to partner with a family to give, but if you do, your gift donation goes to the family you partner with.
