Asia Johnson

God called Asia to missions when she went on her first mission trip to Haiti in 2016. After a time of growing in her walk with Jesus, she did a Campus Missionary in Training program in 2019 for a year, where she learned necessary skills to be in ministry. When this program ended, Asia felt called to film ministry. She started film school and joined a film ministry as a marketing intern. As both school and the internship were coming to a close, God led Asia to join New International as a full-time affiliate. Asia praises God for His work since 2016, and she feels like she is finally where He wants her to be to serve Him and His Kingdom.

At New International, Asia works in video production as a Media Missionary at the Center for Global Outreach (the main Fort Myers office). Asia and the rest of the media team travel to missionaries on the field a few times a year to help them film and document their ministries and the people they serve. The missionaries share these films with churches and ministry partners. These films also encourage the church body, bring glory to God and are used as a tool to reach the lost and fulfill the Great Commission. 

Additionally, the media team makes videos for missionaries to help them raise support from the body of Christ, so that they can continue to do what the Lord called them to do.
