Using Gifts & New Opportunities

My name is Elijah, and I'm from the small town of Sealy, Texas, just west of Houston. Like many people, my life has had its share of challenges and unexpected turns, but through it all, I can now see God's faithfulness and His hand at work long before I fully understood who He was. 

After giving my life to Jesus, I became involved in my church's worship team as an electric guitarist. It has been a privilege to use music as a way to worship God and serve others. One of my favorite verses is Psalm 150:4, which calls us to praise God with stringed instruments. That verse has become especially meaningful to me as I continue to grow in my faith and pursue the calling God has placed on my life. In the future, I hope to serve in music ministry and use the gifts He has given me to point others to Christ.

One of my greatest desires is to share the hope I've found in Jesus with others. While I still have much to learn, I believe God gives each of us unique gifts and opportunities to advance His Kingdom. Through Entermission, I hope to deepen my relationship with Christ, grow in boldness and humility, and learn how to better make disciples wherever God leads me.
