The missionary there, Ryan, told us he had been trying to find a way into the schools, but hadn't been able to yet.
Today's blog is from the Palmers. Kyle and Katie Palmer are a part of the Team Rock, a ministry of NMSI, that uses visual arts to remove the barriers that often block people's ability to truly listen to the Gospel. Through this ministry, the Palmers have been instrumental in getting the Gospel to unreached people groups throughout the world. This unique ministry uses entertainment, such as extreme breaking, to attract people's attention and creates a platform that allows the Gospel to be shared. In addition to proclaiming the Gospel, they use a drama to visually demonstrate God's love and proclaim a hope in Jesus Christ.
“This spring our team journeyed overseas to the Dominican Republic to partner with Eastern Dominican Christian Mission. Outreaches were held at three church plants, a Haitian village, an orphanage, and three schools. We were able to share the Gospel with over 1300 people during the course of the tour.
The missionary there, Ryan, told us he had been trying to find a way into the schools, but hadn't been able to yet. Team Rock's unique ministry was just the thing! We were able to go into the schools and openly share testimonies & the Gospel at every one. In addition, Ryan now has an open invitation to come back to the schools with future groups, so that the gospel can continue to be shared with students there.
At another event this past spring, this time in America at a juvenile detention center, several detainees made decisions for Christ during the altar call. After the program one young man approached Kyle saying, “Thank you! Today my life was saved!" Praise God!
We love to see how God is opening doors for Team Rock and His people all over the world!"
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
