This week's stories of Transformation is brought to you by a family that serves in Southeast Asia. Their names are withheld for security reasons.

As my husband and I have been talking with our believing friends about reaching the lost in new ways, we are hearing stories of their experiences…

“I wish I knew about this way of reaching people a few years ago. I see now that people were ready to learn more about Jesus, but I didn't know what to do next.”

“This past week, one of the Muslim girls in our carpool, asked me about Jehovah Witnesses. We'd never had a conversation before about spiritual things. I had a chance to talk about some of the differences between different “believer” sects and denominations while she talked about some of the differences among their sects as well.”

“I remember a woman, that I often see at the university, one day asked me, from out of the blue, “Do I need to follow Jesus?” I was so surprised to have her ask me this question!”

“A Muslim friend told me the story of her cousin who married a Christian man. At a recent family prayer gathering, this cousin was asked about her beliefs. She proceeded to tell her Muslim family that she had always done her prayers, fasted and did what was right, but she still never found the peace and love she has found with Jesus. Why is she telling me this story?”

“I have many Muslim friends and I really want to know how to share my faith and reach them.”

“Last night as I looked at the crowd at the mall, tears came to my eyes as I thought, “Who is going to reach all these people?”

It's an honor for both of us to be here to share some new ideas with our friends as God opens their eyes to the ways He is working transformation around them.
