Raphael shares his story in his own words on how Nasha has inspired him to bring hope to the hopeless.
Today's story is from Raphael. He is a Kenyan intern with Nasha Ministries, but before that he was also a sponsored youth. NMSI missionaries Elijah and Ellen Ombati had Raphael share his story in his own words on how Nasha has inspired him to bring hope to the hopeless.
"Since I started working with Nasha Ministries International I started learning things in different perspective and this has changed both my in look and outlook of life. Due to this I started giving hope to the hopeless and at least gain some experience from them. Though my life has not been that easy due to some challenges here and there, I at least tried to make sure that life still continues as normal. The time I finished from high school my life started becoming hard and hopeless because of the family background. My parents were all jobless so I was not having any hopes to progress with education. But all in all, I thank God for Nasha because they supported me partially in my tertiary education level until now. I still want to progress with my studies and I still hope that the Almighty God will intervene.
As a worker who is working internship, I and my other colleagues came together and decided to start a street children's program. We are holding it on Saturdays every week at Nasha Offices whereby we were doing some Bible study, arts, teaching them on how to pray and even playing with the children. This made the children to have hope and we also made some follow up in the streets to enquire of their progress. This has made us focused and determined to give hope to the hopeless."
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
