Jesse Frame, from YouthHOPE, just returned from leading youth worker trainings in Asia. Today he shares the story of one of the individuals who attended the training. Hear in her own words the impact of the training and how she wants to use what she's learned to impact youth today.
We met Mabel Si Nang at our training in Yangon, Myanmar. She approached us after the second day of training to tell us the following:
"Thank you for coming to Myanmar. This training has helped me so much!"
She then told us a little of her story. Mabel grew up in an orphanage. Now, as a young adult, she works as a caretaker at that same orphanage and has a passion to help the 40+ youth in her care to have a better life and, ultimately, to know Jesus.
Mabel is just one of over 100 youth workers to participate in our training on this trip alone. On behalf of Mabel and all the others, thank you for supporting and praying for our work!
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
