A summer internship with Venture can be a time of challenges and rewards, filled with learning experiences and opportunities.
If you look at the web bios of many of NMSI's missionaries, you'll see a common phrase - “after a summer internship.†A summer internship with Venture can be a time of challenges and rewards, filled with learning experiences and opportunities to see God's hand at work around the world. It can also be a time that for some, God uses to call them into long-term ministry in missions.
On May 23rd, 14 new summer interns and 3 intern leaders arrived at the Center for Global Outreach (CGO) to begin their journey with Pre-Field Orientation. They got to know themselves and their teammates better through various team building activities and workshops. They worshiped, laughed, and prayed together.
On May 29th they boarded planes and spread out across the globe. One team is focused on Journalism and will be spending the summer gathering stories encouraging the church of Latin America - traveling to Ecuador, Bolivia, Columbia, and Chile. Another team is headed to Kenya to work with NMSI's AfricaHope ministry.
One intern will get to experience firsthand Marketplace Ministry with Opportunities Now in SE Asia, while another team will focus on Community Transformation through agriculture in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The CGO is also blessed with two interns who will be helping our global ministries thrive from the home office. You can follow our interns' stories as the summer progresses on the Venture blog page. Please be in prayer that God will be working transformation in and through these 17 young men and women this summer.
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
