Creating virtual resources for pastors, leaders, and families to grow and connect
As lockdowns began due to COVID-19, Hector and Joy Rodriguez knew they would need to rethink how Iglesia Cristiana La Viña gathered.
The IMPACTO Latino church plant in Mexico began to set in place new systems and resources, allowing the Body of Christ to gather virtually, as many others around the world did. The children’s ministry team began producing pre-recorded classes to give families the opportunity to grow together. Each video included several songs, a story, and a craft made from household materials. The classes were shared on social media and have now been viewed and shared all over Mexico.
"We haven’t really seen any resources like this in Spanish,” Joy shared. “It’s been great to see how it’s benefiting not only our community...but God is using this resource in a lot of different places."
In addition to offering resources for children’s ministry, the IMPACTO team has been working hard to offer material for pastors and leaders. These resource videos have ranged in topics regarding legal aid, following requirements of COVID-19, tips on working from home, and social media/digital ministry. A goal in creating these resources is to help be a catalyst to leaders as they minister to their congregations.
New International worked with the team at Kingery Design Co. and RIIPL to bring this brand, website, and app to life. It’s the collaborative effort of many people.
We hope you enjoy!
