Central Asia Agriculture/English Camp 2024

Overview


If you are passionate about agriculture and seeing how you can use that to do global ministry, this is the internship for you! Interns will first spend time serving in a Muslim cultural setting in Central Asia facilitating an English speaking camp to local agricultural university students to help improve their English for Agriculture skills. Interns will introduce Leadership principles using the 4-H Agriculture Club model. Second, interns will then return to Southwest Florida to serve at ECHO Farms. Interns will have opportunities to learn about and experience an agriculturally focused ministry that helps reduce hunger and improve lives globally.

Interns must have some experience and training in agriculture, 4-H and/or TESOL. Resumes are required in order to enter Central Asia.

*Dates are subject to change in the event of a necessary extension to accommodate a mandatory quarantine upon returning to the U.S.

**We have estimated the cost of international airfare. Additionally, we have estimated applicable costs that are currently associated with COVID-19 and this internship. In the event of airfare increases or changes affecting COVID-19 protocol, interns may be responsible for raising additional funds.
