Santei is the son of a Filipino mother and Italian father who grew up in Sicily, Italy for the first 8 years of his life and then moved to the US. He grew up in a nominal Roman Catholic household until the Lord saved him during his sophomore year of college at Rutgers University of NJ in 2010. He was amazed at the fact that he never actually got to hear the full Gospel message that you are saved through faith alone and not by good works. The Lord began to place a burden on his heart that there are many others back in Italy that have not heard the Gospel and that he should return to change that.
Santei will be serving with an Acts 29 church plant in Salerno, Italy called Nuova Vita. He will be doing campus ministry in the University of Salerno and undergoing pastoral training for the future hopes of one day planting a church back in his home region of Sicily.
