Vechaslav(Slava) and Natasha(Nataliya) Sherskei I met on a trip to the village church where Slava pastors. I presented during the service that we, as PROMISE, have compelted our first group home and need houseparents for the young men who will become residents of this home. On our ride home, Slava shared that Nataliya felt the Lord was promting months ago, that they needed to consider filling a postion as houseparents and that day as I shared he knew the Lord's confirmation that this was His leading for their lives. After many conversations and prayer, we have brought them, along with their 5 children on as our house family. Their youngest son Costya, who's 11 years old, has cerebral palsy will live with them. The older siblings Alexey, Anastasiya, Pavel and Elizaveta are grown and out of the home, for the most part. Please continue to be in prayer with us, we know the Lord contnues to prepare the hearts of these He has for these full-time house parents and their family. They will be filling shoes that won't be easy and will require much patience and immense amounts of love. 

We do still need help in providing back-up as part-time house parents. Vacation time and rest for the full-time house parents will be needed. Sergei and Marina have offered to assist for two weeks out of the summer, when Sergei is not teaching, but consistent time throughout the year is still a big need and prayer request.
